Shaheed Shamsuzzoha Institute of Biosciences regularly organizes Bangladesh National Days programs. Wreaths are laid at the Shaheed Minar of Rajshahi University on various national days of Bangladesh, like Independence Day, Victory Day and 21^st February every year. A National Mourning Day was observed on 15 August and tributes were paid at Bangabandhu’s memorial. Apart from celebrating national days, various programs are organized on international days.
