Shaheed Shamsuzzoha Institute of Biosciences started its activities on 31^st December 2022. The founder of this Institute is Md. Helal Uddin, Associate Professor, Department of History, University of Rajshahi.  Shaheed Shamsuzzoha Institute of Biosciences is located in Katakhali, Rajshahi City, very close to Rajshahi University. The main campus of the Institute is located within walking distance of Rajshahi University and beside the Rajshahi-Nator-Dhaka highway. The Institute is a 3-storied building with a total floor area of more than 6600 square feet.  The campus also provides facilities for other co-curricular activities which are related to the academic purpose.
